Position Summary

As a Digital Content Specialist, you will responsible for capturing, creating, and distributing high-quality content that showcases the life, learning, people, and culture of the school.

The role focuses on visual storytelling through photography, videography, social media content, and digital publishing.

The successful candidate will help bring the school’s brand and community to life by producing engaging and authentic content that supports student recruitment, parent engagement, and brand development.

This is a content-focused role rather than a growth or advertising role.

Key Responsibilities

Photography & Visual Content Creation


Capture high-quality photographs of school activities, lessons, events, performances, and community initiatives.

Build and maintain a structured library of school photography assets.

Ensure visual content reflects the school’s values, culture, and brand standards.

Support the creation of marketing campaigns and promotional materials


Video Production


  • Plan, film, and edit short-form and long-form videos.

  • Produce content for:

    • Student stories

    • Teacher profiles

    • School events

    • Academic programmes

    • Parent testimonials

    • Recruitment campaigns

  • Create content suitable for multiple platforms and audiences.

  • Manage basic audio, lighting, and production requirements.


Social Media Content Management


  • Publish content across:

    • Facebook

    • Instagram

    • LinkedIn

    • Telegram

    • TikTok

    • YouTube

  • Maintain a content calendar.

  • Adapt content for different platforms and audiences.

  • Support community engagement through content publishing


Website Content Support


  • Update website news, stories, and content pages.

  • Ensure website content remains current and aligned with school priorities.

  • Support content collection and publishing for key campaigns.


Content Planning & Story Development


  • Work closely with academic and operational teams to identify content opportunities.

  • Proactively seek stories that demonstrate learning, achievement, wellbeing, and school culture.

  • Support the development of recruitment-focused content.

  • Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and content initiatives.


Asset Management


  • Organise and maintain digital content archives.

  • Ensure photographs, videos, and media assets are properly stored and accessible.

Support future marketing campaigns through effective asset management


Pastoral & Safeguarding


  • Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards at all times as part of your professional duty.

  • Act consistently in the best interests of children, ensuring their safety, happiness, and holistic development.


Professional Contribution


  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to achieve the school’s shared goals and vision.

  • Engage actively in professional development, training, and performance review processes.

  • Contribute to school policies, improvement initiatives, and the maintenance of standards across the school.

  • Interact in a professional manner at all times: be open, respectful, and flexible while upholding and promoting the values of RGSPP.

  • Model and adhere to the RGSPP Code of Conduct and professional expectations.

  • Engage with the performance review process, regularly engaging in lesson observations and reflections to reflect on professional development at set objectives.

 

                                                                                                                                         


Expected Profile of Candidates


  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Film Production, Photography, Multimedia Design, or a related field.

  • Knowledge in Experience in Photography, Videography, Video editing, Social media content creation, Content planning and organization.

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, Canva, Final Cut Pro

  • Experience operating professional cameras and basic audio equipment is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate ideas and emotions through photography and video.

  • Ability to identify and create engaging content opportunities.

  • Strong planning and content management skills.

  • High standards in editing, presentation, and quality control.

  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and leadership teams.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic school environment.

  • Professional quality of photography and video content.

  • Timely delivery of planned content.

  • Growth in engagement and audience reach.

  • Quality and organisation of media assets.

  • Consistency and professionalism of school storytelling

  • Performs well under pressure; highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Willingness to work flexibly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
